Instructions
Shaw Wall Base Adhesive is a premium light-colored, solvent-free acrylic adhesive for installing wall base on clean, dry interior walls. It has the powerful wet strength needed to hold Wall Base firmly to the wall until it dries.

Application
- Spread the adhesive using the appropriate trowel or using a tube applicator tip.
- Spread adhesive on the wall surface.
- Immediately place the wall base into position while the adhesive is freshly applied.
- Roll the entire strip of base with a small roller in the direction of the previously placed strip.
- Wipe smudges and clean spills quickly before the adhesive dries. Use a clean cloth dampened with water.
Clean tools with water while the adhesive is still wet.
- Dried adhesive may require the use of a solvent (odorless mineral spirits).
Caution
Make certain the surface is porous by cutting away or perforating non-absorbent wall coverings. Do not apply to vinyl wallpaper. We cannot be responsible for shrinkage caused by unstable Wall Base.
Coverage on 4” cove (10.16 cm cove):
- 1/8” x 1/8” V-Notch = 220-240 linear feet per gallon
- 3 Hole Applicator Tip = 55-60 linear feet per Tube
Open Time
20 – 30 Minutes
Shelf Life
Two years from manufacturing date in an unopened container.
Avoid excessive heat or cold. Protect from freezing – store at temperatures between 65 degrees and 95 degrees F.

Plaster, brick, wood, concrete, gypsum, drywall, plywood.
VOC content is below and is established by California SCAQMD Rule 1168.

Precautionary Statements
In case of eye contact, flush with water for 10 -15 minutes. If irritation persists contact a physician. If prolonged skin contact causes irritation, wash with soap and water. If swallowed, consult a physician.
Safety glasses and gloves are recommended if contact is expected.
Dispose of in accordance with local, regional, national, international regulations as specified. DOT Hazard Class: Unregulated.
